Public Auctions

As a matter of routine, the Stratford Police Service comes into possession of found and recovered property.  Some of that property is never reunited with its owners.  After the property has been held for a specified period of time, the Police Services Act authorizes the Stratford Police Services Board to dispose of the property by way of public auction.  While the majority of these items are bicycles, there is also a variety of other unclaimed items that may also be sold at these auctions.  Quantities vary from auction to auction.
